Why Should I Buy A Voice Dictation Product?

Are you spending a lot of hard earned money paying a secretary to do your typing for you?  Are you spending a lot of time typing your E-mail or typing in internet chat rooms?  The single biggest reason to buy voice dictation is to save your money and your very precious time.  Time and money are in very short supply nowadays.  So methods that save us time and money are an interest to everyone.

Most people type 20-30 words per minute if that! With the new generation of voice dictation products that just hit the market, you could be voice dictating your letters at an incredible rate of 140 to 160 words per minute.  This is probably a lot faster than your secretary types!  At PC EXPO held in New York this past June, I saw attendees take the Dragon challenge.  Dragon Systems had a exhibit setup where they asked for volunteers from the audience to come up and try to type a letter faster than they could speak it in to a word processor. If they succeeded, they would get a free copy compliments of Dragon. They were handed a Wall Street Journal from that says date and asked to pick out any article. Then they started, The volunteer started typing his article, the Dragon person started voice dictating his, he got to the end of the paragraph, took a breath, started talking about other features, and went back to dictating.  Needless to say, not one person I saw could beat them. It wasn't even close at all.  The Dragon representative beat him hands down.

In an another example, Do you know how long it takes to type a 1500 word article?

And the points we just discussed, where only related to dictation. How long do you take to format that documents after you just typed it in. In most cases, it takes longer to format the document than it took to type it in don't it?
